Visiting Disney World is like stepping into a dream! From thrilling rides to delicious food and unforgettable experiences, every moment is packed with magic.
Where I stayed:
I stayed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, where I could see real animals from my window. It was the perfect place to begin an adventure filled with excitement, fun, and incredible memories.
The Best Rides for Thrill-Seekers:
If you love exciting rides, Disney World has some amazing ones. I tried the best and most thrilling rides for adults, and they did not disappoint!
Magic Kingdom:
- TRON Lightcycle / Run – one of the newest and most exciting rides at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World! This high-speed roller coaster is based on the TRON movies and makes you feel like you’re riding a futuristic lightcycle.
- Space Mountain – is one of the most famous roller coasters at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World! It’s a thrilling, dark indoor coaster that takes you on an exciting journey through outer space.
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad – is a wild, fast, and bumpy roller coaster at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World! It’s themed like an old, abandoned gold mine in the Wild West, making it one of the most fun and exciting rides in the park.
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – is a fun and family-friendly roller coaster at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World! It’s based on the classic Disney movie Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and takes you on an exciting adventure through the dwarfs’ diamond mine.
Hollywood Studios:
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith – is one of the most intense and thrilling rides at Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World! This indoor roller coaster takes you on a high-speed limo ride through Los Angeles while blasting Aerosmith’s greatest hits.
- Twilight Zone Tower of Terror – is one of the most thrilling and spooky rides at Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World! This drop tower ride is themed like an abandoned haunted hotel and is based on The Twilight Zone TV series.
Animal Kingdom:
- Expedition Everest – is one of the most thrilling and exciting roller coasters at Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World! This ride takes you on a high-speed train journey through the Himalayan mountains, where you come face to face with the legendary Yeti.
- Avatar Flight of Passage – is one of the most breathtaking and immersive rides at Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World! This 3D flight simulator makes you feel like you’re soaring on the back of a Banshee through the stunning world of Pandora from Avatar.
Epcot:
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – is one of the most unique roller coasters at EPCOT in Walt Disney World! This ride is a story-driven indoor coaster that features spinning ride vehicles, high-speed thrills, and an epic soundtrack with classic rock hits.
- Test Track – is one of the most exciting and interactive rides at EPCOT in Walt Disney World! This high-speed attraction lets you design your own car and then test it on a thrilling race track to see how well it performs.
- Mission: SPACE – is an intense and immersive space simulator at EPCOT in Walt Disney World! This ride makes you feel like a real astronaut, blasting off from Earth and traveling through space on a high-stakes mission.
The Best Places to Eat at Disney World
All the fun rides made me super hungry, and Disney has some of the best restaurants for adults! Here are my favorites:
Inside the Parks:
- Le Cellier Steakhouse (EPCOT) – The steak here was so tender and tasty, and the cozy setting felt fancy.
- Space 220 (EPCOT) – It felt like I was eating in outer space with a window view of Earth!
- Be Our Guest Restaurant (Magic Kingdom) – I ate in the Beast’s castle, and it felt like I was in a real fairy tale.
- Hollywood Brown Derby (Hollywood Studios) – A classic spot for a fancy and delicious meal.
Outside the Parks:
- Jiko – The Cooking Place (Animal Kingdom Lodge) – The African flavors here were so unique, and the wines were amazing.
- California Grill (Contemporary Resort) – The best part? Watching the fireworks from the top of the hotel while enjoying a fancy dinner.
- Sanaa (Animal Kingdom Lodge) – I got to eat while watching zebras and giraffes roam outside.
- Beaches & Cream Soda Shop (Beach Club Resort) – The milkshakes were HUGE and so good!
- Trader Sam’s Enchanted Lagoon (Polynesian Resort) – A fun and silly bar with tropical drinks and cool effects.
- Enzo’s Hideaway (Disney Springs) – A secret, speakeasy-style restaurant with awesome drinks and snacks.
Practical Tips for a Great Disney Trip
Planning a Disney trip can be overwhelming, but these tips will help you have a stress-free and magical experience:
- Buy Tickets in Advance – Disney parks can sell out, so grab your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
- Use Genie+ for Shorter Wait Times – This service helps you skip long lines for popular rides.
- Stay at a Disney Resort – Resorts like Animal Kingdom Lodge offer early park entry and easy transportation.
- Make Dining Reservations Early – Popular restaurants like Be Our Guest and Space 220 book up fast.
- Pack Smart – Bring comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and a refillable water bottle to stay comfortable all day.
- Plan for Nighttime Shows – Fireworks at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT’s light show are must-sees!
- Use Disney Transportation – Buses, monorails, and boats make getting around easy and fun.
- Take Breaks – The parks are huge, so schedule downtime to rest and recharge.
My Disney trip was absolutely magical! Between staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge, riding thrilling coasters, and eating at amazing restaurants, I had the time of my life.
