The best way to reach the Albania Riviera is to fly into Tirana International Airport (TIA), Albania’s only international airport. From here, you can rent a car and drive along the coast, which gives you the most flexibility to explore the stunning landscapes and beaches.
Alternatively, you can fly into Corfu, Greece, and take a ferry to Ksamil or Sarande, which is located in the heart of the Albania Riviera.
Tirana (1 Night)

Things to Know Before You Go
- Currency: The Albanian Lek is the local currency, and many places only accept cash, so be sure to take out enough money beforehand.
- Transportation: Renting a car gives you the most flexibility to explore the Albania Riviera. Buses and taxis are available, but they limit your ability to visit more remote spots.
- Best Time to Visit: The best time to visit is from May to September, with the shoulder season offering fewer crowds and milder temperatures.
